She was killed during the Operation of the Martyr Kamal Adwan which was carried out in the Palestinian territories that was occupied in 1948 . She appeared in an image with Barak pulling her hair after she was killed . Dalal said in her will  that the resistance must continue until the liberation of all Palestine .
